Today we would like to pay special attention to the fundraising for car for the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the front line for one of the units of the 81st Independent Airmobile Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the AFU. We announced its start a couple weeks ago, but it seems to have gotten lost amongst a lot of other needs and is not progressing as quickly as we would like.
During one of the tasks, the vehicle that the guys were using to transport seriously wounded fighters from the battlefield came under fire. As you can see in the photos and video, it is now completely useless. The places where this unit works are, to put it mildly, turbulent, so there is no way to do without transportation. This is especially important when it comes to saving the lives of the wounded, because the sooner they can get qualified help, the better chance they have of surviving and recovering with as little loss to their health as possible.
We are conducting this collection in coordination with the Ukrainian non-governmental organization Korshenko Brothers Charitable Foundation. The goal is $6800, so far only $387 has been raised, so we ask you to help make this collection known to as many people as possible.
